Just a few more days...

The bow is tuned up and has been shooting great for almost 3 months. The weather is getting right and almost every morning when I walk to my car I can feel and smell 'Deer Season'. I am remembering past opening days, past bucks, and past kills. I had my camaras out for 2 months, had over 400 pics, and one lone buck. A small year and half year old, with a bit of an uneven set of head gear. He is a spike, the right tine reaching up 5-6 inches and the left a mere 2 or 3. While the bucks did not show their face for the camara I am sure that they will be in the woods soon. I have been hunting these deer for two years, this season will be my third. I have let the small ones walk, I have let all the bucks walk, and hopefully this year will pay some dividends. As you can see from my pictures from last year, there are not any giants to speak of, but I have had experiences with all of those deer and look foward to the day when I can close the book on one of them. Once the season begins I will begin posting regularly about individual hunts and what I am seeing. I even plan on trying to put some deer on video this year. Maybe I can get some of those up. Good hunting, and God bless.
